Do you think visiting a new blog every....
I mean the saying goes an apple a day keeps the docter away. Do you think visiting a new blog everyday and leaving a comment will increase traffic to my blog? Or maybe its a doomed operation? It could be subject matter. I do write about or post my own interests and ideas. It could be that others don't find it interesting...Oh well...this is mainly for my own enjoyment.

Ah Haa, I felt the same at one point. I'm pretty sure it'll have an affect on traffic. For what it's worth to you, I like your blog. I think you do a good job here, don't be discouraged :)
yeh, it does work. but it's very labour-intensive. but that's how i started out, to be honest. it takes a while, but it does work.
Yup. You've got to get out there and sell yourself, just like anything else. It is hard work and sometimes you just get fed up because there are so many to keep up with. I have some that I visit regularly, but I can't get to everyone on my "blogrolls". Besides, I'm supposed to be creating and I also have other things I need to do. We all have lives outside of the blog world.
Don't be discouraged, SH. Your blog is good - you just need more exposure and you have to post consistently.

well, its not just about getting traffic and comments, but getting good traffic and comments related to actually what you have written instead just, "hey, nice blog...take care"..or posting a comment just for the sake of posting, no? :))
I mean, you do the blog for yourself mainly, as I managed to understand...so do I...for me it feels like sort of a therapy...but yeah, sometimes, I DO want to know someone else's opinion on what I have said....agreeing/disagreeing and things like that....and as stated in the above comment, we all have a life outside the blog-world...so make sure THAT one goes well in the first place ;-)
and, however, I hope by this post, i DID manage to increase traffic in here for you :)
